Threaded Rod
The KWI Threaded Rod is a precision clutch service tool with two primary uses — compressing the secondary spring during helix installation, and holding the PDrive primary clutch steady while using the circlip remover. Used in combination with the BRP Drive Pulley Opening Tool, it gives you the leverage and control needed to compress the spring and seat the helix correctly, and keeps the PDrive primary locked in position so circlip removal is clean and controlled.
Without the right tools, both of these jobs become unnecessarily difficult. A secondary spring under compression during helix installation fights back without something to hold it, and a PDrive primary that shifts during circlip removal creates the kind of frustration that leads to damaged components. The KWI Threaded Rod solves both problems — giving you a reliable, precise method for getting each job done right without the struggle.
A straightforward tool that makes two genuinely frustrating jobs significantly easier. If you're regularly servicing or tuning clutch systems, this belongs in your toolkit.
