Development & Engineering
Development began in 2024 when a SPEED UTV was brought into KWI’s product lab with a single goal: create a next-generation CVT system capable of handling extreme off-road demands.
Rather than modifying existing components, the Fusion System was designed entirely from scratch. Every major element was reconsidered — airflow management, clutch architecture, belt design, and structural integrity — resulting in a fully integrated drivetrain solution engineered to operate as a single optimized system.
After months of scanning, modeling, airflow mapping, and engineering, prototypes were taken to the desert for real-world validation. Tested under sustained high-speed runs, severe terrain, and continuous overnight use, the system demonstrated exceptional durability, cooling performance, and consistency.
Since mid-2024, Fusion-equipped vehicles have accumulated thousands of race and trail miles, proving reliability under some of the harshest operating conditions.
System Overview
At its core, the Fusion SPEED System replaces the OEM clutches, housing, airflow components, and belt with a cohesive, patent-pending assembly designed to function as one integrated unit.
