This past weekend, KWI Clutching racers dominated the CODE Mexicana Logistics 300 in Mexicali, Baja California. The 208-mile race across a 52-mile lap course pushed drivers, machines, and clutches to the limit in the unforgiving desert terrain.
We are thrilled to announce that Jessica Lopez, with co-driver Alexis Lopez, took 1st place in Class 29 PRO UTV TURBO! Despite an early belt issue, they powered through, thanks to the reliability of their KWI Float Pro Max package on their Can-Am X3. The float system kept their belt temps cooler and delivered more efficient power, giving them the confidence to push hard in rough conditions.
On top of that, Racer Villarino secured an impressive 2nd place in UTV Turbo, rounding out a fantastic weekend for the KWI team.
Both racers ran the KWI Float Pro Max package, which provides unmatched reliability in the toughest terrain. The system allowed for smoother power delivery and kept the clutches running cool under intense pressure. Alongside this, their clutches were calibrated using our AO Series clutch kits and Groovix Helix, which maximized the torque and power transfer from the motor to the wheels. Our clutch kits are designed from the ground up to deliver peak performance and reliability, ensuring drivers can push the limits without worry.
Congrats to our racers for an epic weekend! We’re proud to support their success, and as always, GO FAST!
