Development began in 2024 when a SPEED UTV was brought into KWI’s product lab with a single goal: create a next-generation CVT system that would redefine what was possible. Rather than modifying existing components, the Fusion System was designed entirely from scratch. Every major element was reconsidered — airflow management, clutch architecture, belt design, and structural integrity — resulting in a fully integrated performance system.
After months of scanning, modeling, airflow mapping, and engineering, the Fusion System was taken to the desert for real-world validation. Tested under extreme high-speed runs, brutal terrain, and continuous overnight abuse, the system demonstrated exceptional durability, cooling, and consistency. Since mid-2024, Fusion-equipped vehicles have accumulated thousands of race and trail miles, proving the system’s reliability under the harshest conditions.
At its core, the Fusion System replaces the OEM clutches, housing, airflow components, and belt with a cohesive, patent-pending assembly designed to operate as a single optimized unit. The result is dramatically improved cooling, more efficient power transfer, stronger acceleration, better RPM control, and significantly longer belt life.
