Fusion Speed UTV Secondary
The KWI Fusion SPEED Secondary Clutch is a fully billet, ground-up engineered secondary clutch for the Speed UTV platform — designed as part of KWI's complete Fusion SPEED System and available here as a standalone secondary for riders building or upgrading at their own pace. Like every component in the Fusion System, this secondary was not adapted from an existing design. It was engineered from scratch alongside the primary, housing, ducting, and belt — because a truly optimized CVT system requires every component to be designed in relation to each other.
Development began in 2024 after months of 3D scanning, airflow mapping, and CAD modeling — building a secondary clutch architecture specifically around the demands of high-speed, high-load Speed UTV performance. The Fusion Secondary was then validated in the field by Max Gordon for three nights in the Parker desert alongside the full Fusion System. Triple-digit speeds, brutal terrain, and relentless abuse across some of the most punishing conditions a UTV drivetrain can face — and it performed flawlessly. Over the following year, continued real-world testing with some of the most aggressive drivers in the sport refined and confirmed every aspect of the design.
The result is a secondary clutch that delivers superior belt grip, smoother backshifting, cooler operating temperatures, and more consistent power transfer under the most demanding riding conditions imaginable — hand-built in the USA from premium billet materials.
Important: The Fusion SPEED Secondary requires the updated KWI Fusion SPEED UTV carbon clutch housing and air ducting configuration. This is not a drop-in OEM replacement — it is built for riders who want the strongest, most capable secondary clutch available for the Speed UTV platform.
