In 2024, we pulled a Speed UTV into KWI’s R&D lab and set out to build more than just a clutch kit. We engineered a complete clutching system from the ground up—something that would redefine what’s possible for Speed UTV performance.
This wasn’t a simple upgrade. We reimagined everything:
- All-new air guides and intake ducting
- A fully redesigned billet primary clutch
- A precision-engineered billet secondary clutch
- A proprietary Fusion belt, developed in tandem with the system
After months of airflow mapping, CAD modeling, and real-world testing, we put the Fusion System in the hands of Max Gordon. For three nights in the Parker desert, Max and Robbie Gordon pushed it harder than any UTV clutch has ever been pushed—triple-digit speeds, brutal terrain, and nonstop abuse. And it never backed down.
Over the next year, the testing didn’t stop. This system was battle-proven, refined, and validated by some of the most aggressive drivers in the sport.
