The KWI PD Update is designed for customers who received their PDrive Float Mod prior to April 2024. While the Float Mod solves clutch misalignment issues, the PD Update addresses a separate, well-known problem with PDrive primary clutches sticking engaged on the belt. This condition can cause hard shifting, secondary clutch spin at idle, and vehicle engagement at idle—even after the Float Mod has been installed.
The PD Update resolves these issues by replacing critical components inside the primary clutch, ensuring the clutch fully disengages at idle and functions as intended. If you already have a Float Mod installed, this update is your next step toward full clutch system performance and reliability.
Important: You must have the KWI Float Mod already installed to use this product. If not, your order will be converted to a full Float Mod package and invoiced for the remaining balance. Clutches will not be processed until the balance is paid.
