PDrive X
The KWI PDrive-X Primary Clutch Kit is a complete PDrive conversion system for Can-Am X3, Defender HD10, and Commander 1000R models — replacing your entire QRS-style primary with a brand-new PDrive primary clutch machined and prepped in-house by KWI for maximum performance, precision, and durability. Paired with the AO-P1 Adjustable Clutch Kit and DR3 Groovix Helix as the foundation of every package, the PDrive-X delivers better throttle response, quicker acceleration, stronger backshifting, and significantly lower belt temperatures across every terrain and riding condition.
The PDrive-X is available in five configurations to match your existing setup and performance goals:
Primary / Groovix — The entry point into the PDrive-X system. Includes a new KWI-prepped PDrive Primary Clutch, AO-P1 Adjustable Clutch Kit, and DR3 Groovix Helix. Improved throttle response, reduced belt temps, and smoother power delivery — bolt it on, dial it in, and go.
PDrive X Pro – New Secondary — Everything in the Primary/Groovix package plus a brand-new KWI floated secondary clutch with KWI Roller Upgrade. Improved alignment, smoother shifting, better backshifting, lower belt temps, and increased belt life — the complete bolt-on CVT upgrade.
PDrive X Pro – Send In Secondary — Already have a good secondary? Send it in and KWI will machine it to float, resurface and inspect the sheaves, install KWI Rollers, and fit it with a DR3 Groovix Helix — delivering all the benefits of the Pro package using your existing secondary.
PDrive X Pro Aggressive – New Secondary — Built for aggressive riders who want maximum performance on an OEM-style CVT system. Everything in the Pro package plus a Blue/Pink Aggressive Secondary Spring for harder acceleration and more aggressive belt control.
PDrive X Pro Aggressive – Send In Secondary — The ultimate send-in option for aggressive riders. Send in your secondary and KWI will fully upgrade it with the Float Mod, DR3 Groovix Helix, KWI Rollers, and Blue/Pink Aggressive Spring — everything the Pro Aggressive delivers, using your existing clutch.
Note: 120HP and 135HP Turbo Can-Am X3 models require tuning before installing this kit to take full advantage of the increased clutching capability. PDrive primary rollers are wearable OEM components and should be inspected regularly. All floated secondary options include a complete inspection and evaluation before modifications are performed — if any worn or damaged components are found, KWI will provide a repair estimate for approval before work begins.
